PARSIPPANY, N.J. (June 22, 2011) — Delta Dental of New Jersey announces that Ronald Deblinger, D.M.D., will serve as chairman of the board of trustees, succeeding Gerald Sydell, D.D.S., who has held this position for 12 years. Dr. Sydell will assume the position of vice chairman.

"We look forward to Dr. Deblinger's leadership, and commend Dr. Sydell for a decade of vision and strength leading our corporation and building a legacy of success for us." Dr. Deblinger, a member of Delta Dental's board of trustees for two decades, is a graduate of Alfred University and received his dental and endodontic training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Deblinger is still active in his Clifton endodontic practice, which he founded in 1977 and which has grown over the past 34 years to include three partners.
