Biogeneric Software & inEos Blue Scanner Receive Awards

Charlotte, NC (October 26, 2010) – Two new products from Sirona Dental Systems have been named among 2010’s most innovative tools for the dental laboratory industry by the Journal of Dental Technology (JDT).  Sirona’s inEos® Blue desktop scanner and CEREC® and inLab® Biogeneric software share the honor as 2010 WOW! winners in the October issue of JDT.

For the sixth annual WOW! issue, the Journal of Dental Technology gathered an independent panel of laboratory technicians to help identify the most groundbreaking products, services, and equipment available to dental technicians.  Determining factors for this year’s list were based on products that exemplify quality and substantially save time and money.  Panelists reviewed over forty nominated products to choose the twelve winners.

GC America Grand Opening Ceremony for Expansion Project

Alsip, IL – October, 2010 – GC America Inc. (GCA) is very pleased to announce a grand opening ceremony was recently held for their expansion and renovation project. A 40- year resident in Alsip’s industrial community in Illinois, GCA expanded its manufacturing facility by 25% to 100,000 square feet. The new facility includes a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant.

Darby Dental Hires Kathy Coble as Business Development Manager

Jericho, NY (October 21, 2010) – Darby Dental Supply, LLC, the largest all-telesales national distributor of dental merchandise, recently named dental industry veteran Kathy Coble as business development manager.
 
Coble will be based out of Darby’s Coral Springs, Florida office and will be primarily responsible for working with dental associations and study clubs to develop custom sales and marketing programs.
