This innovation makes same-day chairside zirconia restorations achievable with a simple prep, scan, mill, and seat workflow.
Now available through authorized Roland DGA dental resellers, Chairside Zirconia is a game-changer for clinical dental professionals. Unlike traditional monolithic dry-milled zirconia materials, it features an exclusive 3-layer gradient design (25% Incisal, 25% Transition, and 50% Dentin) that ensures optimal restorative esthetics with natural translucency while maintaining superior zirconia strength properties.
Chairside Zirconia’s multi-layered composition eliminates the need for sintering or additional finishing, removing the requirement for a sintering or ceramic oven. It boasts an average flexural strength of 500 MPa without firing, surpassing the 364 MPa average for traditional lithium disilicate milling blocks after firing and crystallization. Additionally, Chairside Zirconia has a particle size of approximately 4.0 µm, nearly four times greater than the average traditional zirconia milling puck. Its coarse microstructure, combined with exceptional fracture toughness and low scratch hardness, allows for superior milling capabilities and results. Moreover, Chairside Zirconia is specifically designed for wet-milling, thanks to its unique particle structure and density, setting it apart from traditional zirconia materials.
