Kuraray Noritake Dental recently announced the launch of CLEARFIL Universal Bond Quick 2. This advanced single-bottle adhesive builds upon Kuraray’s pioneering work in etching and chemically bonding dentin, as well as formulating the original MDP adhesive monomer.
CLEARFIL Universal Bond Quick 2 features a proprietary blend of MDP, Amide, and Urethane Tetramethacrylate (UTM) monomers that enables quick and easy application without a separate activation step. This new chemistry allows for immediate bonding to enamel and dentin, eliminating the need for a waiting period. The formulation also creates a thin, uniform adhesive layer that prevents pooling, resulting in stronger and more predictable bond strengths to both enamel and dentin.

Furthermore, this adhesive can be used with other self- adhesive resin cements without a separate activator. The product is available in both bottle and unit- dose delivery options to suit various practice needs.
