Established in 1968, Dentist@29 is a reputable private dental practice offering high-quality preventative dentistry, implants, and aesthetic treatments. The practice boasts a modern fit-out and two well-equipped surgeries, with room for expansion. It is ideally located on Castle Street, in the heart of Northwich’s town centre.

The business, owned by Dr. Peter Young for over 30 years, was brought to market to facilitate his retirement.

Following a confidential sales process with Jonathan Watson at Christie & Co, the practice has been purchased by first-time buyer Dr. Marina George of Ladywell Enterprises Limited.

“I bought the practice in 1990 when it was a 50/50 private-NHS practice,” said Dr. Peter Young, former owner of Dentist@29. “In 1994, I went completely private with the help of a Denplan-led conversion and focused on dental implant treatments. A couple of years ago, I realized I no longer wanted to run the business.”

“I graduated from Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram, in 1998 and worked in private practice in India until 2006,” said Dr. Marine George, owner of Ladywell Enterprises Limited. “During this time, I also lectured in the Department of Conservative Dentistry at Amrita School of Dentistry. I completed my ORE in 2008, registered with the General Dental Council, and began practicing in the UK, primarily in an NHS setting. In 2014, I completed a Multi-System Implantology Certification and started placing implants. Recently, in July 2024, I earned a Master’s degree in Implantology from the University of Salford. After purchasing this practice, I plan to run it solely as a private implant practice, gradually incorporating digital implant technology and expanding the practice with two additional surgeries over the next three years.”

“We are delighted to have assisted Peter and Marina in the successful sale and purchase of Dentist@29,” said Jonathan Watson, director of dental at Christie & Co. “This transaction highlights the strong demand for private dental practices in the current market. The interest in Dentist@29 underscores the ongoing trend of buyers eager to acquire well-established, reputable practices in desirable locations. We are proud to have facilitated this deal and look forward to their continued success in Cheshire’s vibrant dental community.”

“It has been a pleasure working with Dr. Young and supporting the wider team on this transaction,” added Sarah Brough, solicitor in the corporate team at Forbes Solicitors. “We wish everyone involved all the best for the future.”

Dentist@29 was sold for an undisclosed price.
