Colgate Announces 4th Quarter and Full Year 2024 Results

Colgate-Palmolive Company has announced its financial results for 2024, achieving over $20 billion in net sales for the first time. Organic sales grew by 7.4%, with GAAP EPS increasing by 27% to $3.51 and Base Business EPS rising by 11% to $3.60. The company also returned $3.4 billion to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases.

In the fourth quarter, organic sales increased by 4.3%, while GAAP EPS grew 3% to $0.90. Colgate maintained its global leadership in oral care, with a 41.4% market share in toothpaste and 32.2% in manual toothbrushes.

Chairman, president, and CEO Noel Wallace highlighted the company’s continued investments in brand growth, digital capabilities, and sustainability, reinforcing its long-term strategic goals.

Looking ahead to 2025, Colgate anticipates flat net sales growth due to foreign exchange impacts but remains confident in achieving its 3% to 5% organic sales growth target.
