3M ESPE recently hosted more than three dozen representatives from leading industry media outlets to participate in a two-day event at the 3M Innovation Center, located in St. Paul, Minn. Members of the media, including Dentistry Today, participated in a series of workshops and seminars featuring the latest in innovative research, leading new products and technologies, and a commitment to educational resources for the dental industry. Attendees were invited to experience the 3M World of Innovation, which harnesses more than 40 core technology platforms and employs them to develop the latest groundbreaking ideas for dentistry.
The company provided the opportunity to learn about and work hands-on with several of the its industry-leading products such as Filtek™ Supreme Ultra Universal Restorative and Impregum™ Soft Polyether Impression Material in the new syringe delivery, as well as recently introduced RelyX™ Luting Plus Automix Cement. Additionally, the company offered a sneak peek of the new Scotchbond™ Universal Adhesive – the first single-bottle, universal adhesive that offers a unique combination of total- and self-etch properties.
3M ESPE Preventive Care discussed the success of their unique Tri-Calcium Phosphate ingredient, a calcium phosphate technology exclusively found in Clinpro™ 5000 1.1% Sodium Fluoride Anti Cavity Toothpaste and Vanish™ 5% Sodium Fluoride White Varnish. Media members also interacted with the leader in small diameter implant dentistry, experiencing the MDI Mini Dental Implant system and its denture stabilization benefits. Also making an appearance at the event was the Lava™ Chairside Oral Scanner C.O.S. with upgraded software now available to dentists nationwide and several up-and-coming solutions for the dental lab market that continue to streamline the digital workflow and define the future of dentistry worldwide.
