Fair Lawn, NJ – (March 26, 2012) – MIS Implants Technologies, Ltd., a leading manufacturer of dental implants, has scheduled their second annual bike ride for Sunday, July 29th, 2012. MIS Implants welcomes dental professionals, their friends and families to participate in the ride and contribute to Impact Health International.
The “Get in Gear for Giving” cycling event is meant to gather the dental community for a fun, stress-free ride, while supporting a charitable cause. “We are riding for Impact Health International,” explains Motti Weisman, MIS Implants USA CEO. Mr. Weisman is an avid cyclist and saw an opportunity to combine his passion for the sport with his desire to help this organization. “I was introduced to Impact Health International while attending a surgical course in the Dominican Republic,” states Weisman. “I was very impressed with the positive impact they have in this underprivileged area, and also a bit overwhelmed by the amount of work that still needs to be done.”
Impact Health International is a non-profit organization that funds orphanages and schools throughout the Dominican Republic. There are no government-funded programs to assist with much-needed social programs. Proceeds from all of the registration and sponsorship fees for this year’s “Get in Gear for Giving” cycling event will be donated to the organization.
There will be a choice of a 15- or 40-mile route through the beautiful lower Hudson River area. Participants will gather at Cyclesport Bike Shop, located at 1 Hawthorne Ave. in Park Ridge, NJ, the morning of the event. Both routes will bring cyclists to the waterfront area in Piermont, NY, then back to the Park Ridge site. The 40-mile ride will begin at 7:30 AM and the 15-mile ride starts at 8:30 AM. It is anticipated that all riders will complete their routes by 12:00.
Registration fees range from $25.00 to $500.00 and, depending on the registration fee level, participants will receive a variety of gifts. These range from T-shirts to a Verge Sport™ cycling jersey. Additionally, all participants who register before May 21st, 2012 will be entered into a raffle drawing to win an iPod touch® or a pair of Oakley® sunglasses.
