(Charlotte, January 23, 2013) For every Digital Campus subscription purchased during the month of February 2013, Spear will donate 10 percent of the proceeds to National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy® (NCOHF).  Spear, an online resource providing continuing education and practice management tools, is making this donation in honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month to help ensure at-risk children receive vital oral health services.

“The importance of the work NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy does on behalf of children’s oral health cannot be underestimated,” says Spear founder, Frank Spear. “As members of the dental community, it is both our responsibility and our honor to do what we can to address pediatric dental disease.”

“We are very grateful that Spear has partnered with us in our mission to eliminate children’s needless suffering from America’s number one chronic childhood illness,” said Fern Ingber, NCOHF President and CEO.  “Their generous donation will help America’s ToothFairy reach more children with vital oral health services.”

National Children’s Oral Health Foundation, known as America’s ToothFairy, was formed in 2006 in an aggressive response to eliminate pediatric dental disease by providing community programs with the comprehensive resources to deliver vital educational, preventive, and treatment services to children of the most vulnerable populations.  Supporting the delivery of oral health education and care beginning at the prenatal level, NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy engages caring dental professionals and the general public in programs designed to promote children’s oral health.  Through the generosity of dedicated supporters like Spear, NCOHF: America’s ToothFairy has reached millions of children through its national non-profit clinical network and volunteer professional and student community service programs.
