The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry and its Department of Endodontics will dedicate their Postgraduate Endodontics Clinic and the Dr. Franklin S. Weine Endodontics Surgical Suite on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at 6 p.m. at the UIC College of Dentistry, 801 S. Paulina St., third floor.
Members of the media are welcome to attend.
The Dr. Franklin S. Weine Surgical Suite is a state-of-the-science facility featuring the latest hand-pieces, cabinetry, microscope, digital radiography, L.E.D. overhead lighting, and documentation capability. Measuring sixteen by twenty feet, it is the largest operatory in the Postgraduate Endodontics Clinic. The Weine Surgical Suite allows residents to treat and observe the most complex endodontic surgical cases. This facility serves as a fitting and lasting legacy to a true pioneer in Endodontics and postgraduate education. The University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry is proud of its surgical suite named in honor of Dr. Weine—a true friend and mentor to so many.
