Now FDA-cleared for commercial distribution in the United States, BIOLASE’s Waterlase Express all-tissue laser system is the latest addition to the company’s Waterlase line of Er,Cr:YSGG all-tissue lasers and represents the fifth generation of the world’s most widely used all-tissue dental laser wavelength.

Waterlase Express’s user controls and learning tools have been designed to help dentists new to all-tissue lasers integrate Waterlase technology into their practices. Its key support features include HD-quality clinical animations guiding proper laser techniques for every on-board procedure; easy-to-use procedure presets; and simplified and intuitive clinical workflows for an expansive library of more than 80 clinical procedures.

The Waterlase Express utilizes a compact, miniaturized version of BIOLASE’s patented Waterlase Er,Cr:YSGG laser engine, which has been used to perform approximately 20 million procedures. Also, its patented contra-angle handpiece has been designed for improved clinical intraoral access. New side-firing tips will soon be offered for implant thread debridement.
