Showcased at the California Dental Association (CDA) meeting in Anaheim, the Orascoptic EyeZoom and Mini EyeZoom are the first and only loupes to offer multiple magnification powers.
The EyeZoom provides options of 3x, 4x, and 5x magnification with 4.0-in, 3.25-in, and 2.5-in field widths, respectively. The working distance can be customized for each user, and the loupes weigh in at just 3.4 oz.
The EyeZoom Mini provides 2.5x and 3.5x magnification with 4.0-in and 3.2-in field widths, respectively. The working distance can also be customized, and the Mini weighs only 2.6 oz.
These optics were co-engineered by Orascoptic and Konica Minolta for ideal visibility for dentists. They are through-the-lens and come in 5 different frame options.
"The EyeZoom allows dentists to change their magnification to perform many different procedures. It’s a very versatile loupe," said Nicole Jacobson, marketing manager at Orascoptic.
