Tickets includes drinks from premier wine, beer, and liquor retailers , hors d’oeuvres from some of Brooklyn’s finest restaurants and music ranging from classical to contemporary jazz.
Who are we?
Starts with a Smile is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to preventing oral disease in disadvantaged populations, primarily in homeless families. We operate through grass-root donation campaigns to buy/collect and distribute toothbrushes and toothpaste to local shelters. Homeless persons are most under-served in terms of oral health. In fact, they are 12x more likely than individuals with stable housing to have dental problems.
For every dollar generated from this event, we will provide a toothbrush and a toothpaste for the Women In Need shelter in Brooklyn, giving oral health to those at the greatest risk for disease. Please help us provide this critical aid. Find out more at: StartsWithASmile.org
