The Dentsply Sirona Endodontics Endo Access Kit includes 8 instruments in a flip-out case that can be autoclaved. Included are one of each of the following: amalgam, pulp shaper, tapered diamond burs, X-Gates drill, and round carbide and diamond burs Nos. 2 and 4. The amalgam bur is designed for metal frameworks or crowns. The pulp shaper bur addresses the expansion and finishing of access preparations. The round carbide Nos. 2 and 4 burs suit composite or natural tooth structure. The round diamond Nos. 2 and 4 burs are designed for ceramic crowns. The tapered diamond bur fits the expansion and finishing of access preparations. And, the unique X-Gates drill replaces the Gates Glidden 1-4 drills and suits radicular access. The kit was designed by Drs. Clifford J. Ruddle, John D. West, and Pierre Machtou.
