Couture Discs Create Healthy Interdental Spaces

Interproximal areas are hard to access with polishing instrumentation. Unfortunately, these are the areas where food debris, plaque, and bacteria collect, causing hard- and soft-tissue problems. Finishing strips are often not up to the task. Centrix’s Couture ProxiDiscs, though, help to create healthy interdental spaces. They adjust tight contacts and remove excess restorative materials.

Couture discs are stainless steel, single-side coated with fine diamonds (or uncoated) to speed up removal. ProxiDiscs do not have serrated, destructive leading edges that can damage enamel and restoratives as they unevenly saw the contact area. Uncoated ProxiDiscs remove excess cement or other materials without removing enamel. They are faster and easier than metal strips and floss. Easy and intuitive to use, autoclavable ProxiDiscs are firmly rolled through the contact area with a rocking motion (not sawed) until the desired reduction has been achieved.
