Carestream Dental has named Lea Al Manty, DDS, MS, its clinical specialty director. She will work closely with the company’s sales organization to develop and implement effective scientific training on its imaging solutions, such as CBCT. Also, she will serve as an educator, consultant, and instructional expert for clinical development.
Al Manty is an oral and maxillofacial radiologist from the University of Texas Health in San Antonio (UTHSA), where she served as a teaching assistant focused on developing the technical and diagnostic radiology skills of predoctoral dental students.
“Having a licensed clinical professional on staff is a huge benefit to Carestream Dental’s sales organization,” said Brandon Darcangelo, CS Solutions and educational institutes sales director. “By understaning what doctors are looking for in clinical images, we can better comprehend how to serve their needs and recommend solutions that pertain to their practice.”
Al Manty holds a master of science degree from UTHSA and a DDS from Lebanese University in Beirut, Lebanon. She also is a member of the American Association of Oral Maxillofacial Radiology and co-chair of its residents committee.
