SS White has donated more than $90,000 in carbide burs, endodontic products, kits, and accessories to America’s ToothFairy National Children’s Oral Health Foundation, a resource provider with a national network of nonprofit clinics providing essential oral healthcare to underserved children and families in their communities.
“The children that these clinics serve deserve the same high-quality care as those who can afford to pay top dollar,” said Tom Gallop, CEO of SS White. “We are proud to work with America’s ToothFairy to provide nonprofit clinics with the precision instruments they need to restore the healthy smiles of thousands of children.”
“We are so thankful for generous corporate sponsors like SS White who truly care about our mission to restore the oral health of our nation’s youth,” said Jill Malmgren, executive director of America’s ToothFairy. “When our Dental Resource Program clinics have the tools, instruments, and products they need, they can provide the access to care that is so crucial to families that would otherwise have to go without.”
The Dental Resource Program supports nonprofit dental service providers to decrease their operating costs and increase their capacity to provide services for children. Member clinics must demonstrate a shared commitment to oral health education, prevention of pediatric disease, and addressing barriers to care.
Since its inception in 2006, America’s ToothFairy has distributed more than $18 million in donated products, educational materials, and financial grants to improve oral health outcomes for children and youth in need. This care has provided more than 8.8 million children and caregivers with oral healthcare and education, including more than 1 million screenings for underserved children.
