The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) has named Michelle Lee, CPC, executive director. Charged with developing the organization’s strategic vision moving forward, Lee will work with the OSAP board of directors to leverage her insights to enhance its membership offerings, introduce new marketing initiatives, and expand its reach, OSAP says.
“Michelle’s real-world business acumen and executive leadership made her an impressive candidate, but it’s her loyal involvement, understanding of the dental industry, and ideas of how to develop and evolve the organization that made her a perfect fit for the position,” said Andy Whitehead, interim executive director.
Lee has more than 30 years of experience in dentistry and healthcare. Previously, she was president and CEO of DDS Staffing Resources. Most recently, she was managing partner, practice development and training, with Tower Leadership. She has spoken at multiple association events and at dental schools throughout the southeast as well.
“I love the dental industry. It is a deeply rewarding career path, and I’m thrilled to extend my expertise to a wonderful organization like OSAP,” Lee said. “I’m excited to work with the OSAP board on the strategic plan, getting to know our membership, and looking forward to spreading the critical message of providing the safest dental visit.”
