Coltene hosted its second North America Key Opinion Leader Symposium in Montreal in September, bringing together more than 60 dental experts from the United States, Canada, and Europe along with the company’s North American sales and marketing leaders. The two-day event explored advances in technology and trends in preservative dentistry for both endodontic and restorative practitioners.
The September 21 session focused on “Digital and Bioactive Technologies in Endodontics.” Speakers reviewed NiTi instruments, interdisciplinary endodontics, tricalcium silicate-based materials, surgical treatment, and 3-D workflows. A panel discussion included a question and answer session between the speakers and the audience. Also, a hands-on workshop featured Coltene’s HyFlex EDM file system.
September 22 was all about “Adhesive Technology Innovations for Esthetic Dentistry.” The experts tackled technology-driven diagnostics, hybridization versus biomineralization, modern adhesive materials, and ceramic and composite restorations with CAD/CAM. A second panel discussion also gave the speakers and audience an opportunity to interact. Plus, Coltene provided an overview of its restorative products and CAD/CAM material classes.
