Dr. Joseph Massad received the American Academy of Implant Dentistry’s Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding vision, dedication, and commitment to implant dentistry on March 1 during the Fifth Global American Academy of Implant Dentistry Conference at the First Asian Hard and Soft Tissue Symposium, held in New Delhi, India.
Massad has practiced dentistry for 44 years, with 33 years of experience in creating implant prostheses. Earlier in the symposium, he presented “The Use of Implants to Retain a Total Nose Prosthesis” to 1,000 attendees. He is a frequent contributor to Dentistry Today and one of its Leaders in Continuing Education as well.
“I was speechless when I was called to go to the podium to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, and I thanked the board and the audience of practitioners for treating God’s children with their expertise and kindness,” Massad said.’
