Carestream Dental has opened registration for its 2019 Global Oral Health Summit, scheduled for November 7 to November 9 in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Under the theme of “Power the Performance of Your Practice,” the conference will focus on practice management software and equipment.
The conference will feature hands-on training for CS OrthoTrac, CS PracticeWorks, CS SoftDent, and CS WinOMS users. Sessions also will cover working in a cloud environment, using software for revenue cycle management, optimizing social media, and mastering patient engagement, as well as implant guided surgery, restorative optimization with a mill, airway management, and 3-D printing.
“We take the feedback and requests of past attendees to heart. It’s what helps us make continuous updates and improvements to the Summit program so we’re able to deliver an educational program and host an event that’s truly relevant to the oral health community,” said Greg Marko, chief marketing officer at Carestream Dental.
The conference also will feature the Master Class Series, which comprises intensive 90-minute courses that include an interactive portion, training exercises, and discussions. Attendees will leave the class with a fresh set of tools and the strategy needed to perform under pressure in any practice or clinical situation, Carestream Dental says.
Attendees also may sign up for a Customized Training Experience, a one- or two-hour block that provides personalized training from a Carestream Dental expert on exactly what the attendee’s team needs to power the performance of their practice, the company says.
Also, the Power-Users Theater will feature customer-led 15-minute TED-inspired sessions to inform, inspire, and leave attendees with actionable takeaways to implement within their practice management software, Carestream Dental says.
The full educational program includes more than 50 courses for 13 possible continuing education credits led by real software users, Carestream Dental developers and designers, practice management software trainers, doctors, consultants, and other industry leaders, the company reports.
