DryShield now offers a line of single-use mouthpieces in addition to its fully autoclavable modern isolation system.

“We are excited to be the first isolation system with a full slate of autoclavable and single-use mouthpiece options. We think that, for our customer base, this is a real game-changer,” said Thien Nguyen, DryShield CEO.

“Our vision has always been for all dentists, my colleagues and friends, to enjoy the benefits of modern isolation no matter what kind of practice they are in,” said DryShield founder Dr. Lan Nguyen. “Introducing the single-use mouthpieces now offers dentists a range of options to find the best fit for their needs and those of their patients.”

Although the company notes that its autoclavable mouthpieces continue to be the most economical option for many options, it says certain practices as well as some hospitals and government organizations may prefer a single-use option.

The single-use mouthpieces are available in pedo, small, medium, and large sizes and come in a box of 20, with each mouthpiece individually packed. According to the company, all DryShield dentists will see chair time reduced by an average of 20% to 30% per procedure, allowing more procedures per appointment, more patients per day, and more consistent on-time schedules.
