Pulpdent’s ACTIVA Presto white dental material is designed to mimic the properties of natural teeth. It doesn’t include any Bis-GMA, Bisphenol A, or BPA derivatives. Also, its moisture-friendly resin is designed to facilitate the diffusion of bioavailable calcium, phosphate, and fluoride ions. This unique chemistry penetrates and integrates with tooth structure for margin-free adaptation, Pulpdent says. The material includes a patented rubberized resin as well that absorbs stress and resists wear, fracture, and chipping, even in thin areas on bevel margins, according to the company. The stackable composite will hold its shape and won’t slump, Pulpdent adds. It is indicated for all classes of cavities and comes in a variety of shades, including cervical shades A4 and A6. With 250% radiopacity, its light cure setting time is 20 ±2 seconds with 6-mm depth. It comes in 1.2-mL syringes.
