The American Association of Endodontists (AAE) has canceled its annual meeting, AAE20, which was scheduled for April 1 to April 4 in Nashville. The organization says it sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience the cancellation may have caused members and attendees.

Also, the AAE says it will consider possibilities for salvaging content from the meeting and encourages members to visit its FAQ page, which will be updated as more information becomes available. However, AAE20 will not be rescheduled for anytime later this year.

The AAE adds that it will refund all registration fees in full, even if attendees canceled their registration before the group made its decision to cancel the meeting. No action is required, the AAE says, with refunds processed in up to 60 days. Questions about refunds can be directed to (800) 424-5249 or to aaendo@experiment-inc.com.

Hotel reservations booked in the AAE block will be canceled without charge. Those who booked accommodations outside of the block should cancel their reservations directly with their hotel. Similarly, attendees should check with their airlines about current refund policies.

Attendees who were planning on attending continuing education sessions at the conference are encouraged to visit the Endo On Demand distance learning library. Local chapters may be providing education and networking opportunities as well, the AAE says.
