Dental Alliance Holdings will launch a 30-day free online continuing education event for dental professionals called CONNEXT designed to offer education, collaboration, connection, and innovation between dental providers. Beginning on April 6, topics will include COVID-19, clinical strategies for preventing disease, and other relevant subjects.

“CONNEXT is a place, once a day, for dentists and their teams to engage and connect. We wanted to provide an opportunity for all of us to learn and think strategically about how we will engage with, serve, treat, and connect with our patients, now and in the future,” said V. Kim Kutsch, DMD, CEO of Dental Alliance Holdings.

Sessions will be held daily from 11 am to noon PDT. Speakers, who are being added daily, will include:

  • Robert Lustig, MD: An internationally recognized speaker, Lustig is the author of Fat Chance: Beating the Odds Against Sugar, Processed Food, Obesity, and Disease; Fat Chance Cookbook; and The Hacking of the American Mind: The Science Behind the Corporate Takeover of Our Bodies and Brains.
  • V. Kim Kutsch, DMD: An inventor, product consultant, and internationally recognized speaker, Kutsch is a dentist who retired after 41 years of practice and has written many academic, fiction, and non-fiction books.
  • Bruce Baird, DDS: As the cofounder of the Productive Dentist Academy and Comprehensive Finance Inc, Baird grew his dental practice over 36 years into a multi-doctor, multimillion-dollar business with 2019 revenues of more than $5 million.
  • Susan Maples, DDS: An international speaker on total health, the oral-systemic health connection, and the diabetes epidemic, Maples also discusses leadership, team-building, advanced case planning and acceptance, relationship-based target marketing, and growing health kids in the dental practice.
  • Doug Thompson, DDS: Using advanced DNA bacterial testing methods and other leading-edge dental science, Thompson enables early risk assessment and personalized treatment planning. He also coaches risk assessment treatment planning, digital photography, and systems to transform traditional hygiene services into value-added experiences of personalized periodontal medicine.
