Structur CAD comprises VOCO’s strong and aesthetic composite CAD/CAM blocks and discs, enabling practitioners to mill temporary crowns and bridges quickly and reliably, according to the company. Designed for both short-term and long-term temporary restorations for up to three years, Structur CAD has outstanding edge stability after milling, VOCO said.

Polishing is quick and easy, Structur CAD’s fluorescence is similar to that of natural teeth, making for a natural-looking and toothlike aesthetic restoration, the company said. CAD/CAM-produced temporary restorations are precise, easy to reproduce, and repairable, and they can be customized with conventional composites, VOCO added.

Cementation can be customized to fit the patient’s particular situation, either with temporary cement or by using an adhesive for longer wearing periods, and there is no need for an MMA primer. Structur CAD does not need to be fired or glazed and is available in shades A1, A2, and A3 as a size 40L block and as a disc with a thickness of 20 mm (diameter of 98.4 mm).
