Western Dental & Orthodontics has named Dr. Steven Le its pediatric director. Le will have the primary responsibility of ensuring quality of care and service excellence for pediatric patients in Western Dental Kids, Western Dental, Brident, and Vital Smiles offices in California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, and Alabama, according to the company.
As pediatric director, Le also will support the pediatric clinical team and shape clinical protocols and the patient care experience in collaboration with pediatric dentists, office staff, the quality management team, and operational and business leaders, Western Dental said.
Le has been a pediatric dentist for more than 20 years, serving as a pediatric dentist at various Western Dental locations throughout Southern California. He holds a DDS from the University of Southern California and completed his specialty residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Minnesota.
“Dr. Le has been a valuable contributor to the development of our pediatric practice,” said Dr. John Luther, chief dental officer at Western Dental. “We are pleased to have his expertise and clinical leadership available across our organization to help build our pediatric program and ensure that children continue to have access to excellent care.”
Prior to joining Western Dental, Le was a professor at the University of Southern California Dental School and director of the USC/QueensCare Mobile Clinics. He also was a clinical instructor for pediatric dentistry at the University of Minnesota, president and lead pediatric dentist for Kids’ Dental in California, and lead pediatric dentist at Children’s Dental Center in Indiana.
