The Medical Business Equipment Unit of Cefla North America has partnered with exocad America, an Align Technology company, to offer exocad’s exoplan as an integrated implant planning software solution for NewTom CBCT scanners for 2D and 3D imaging.
The exoplan implant-planning and surgical guide design software is designed to provide dental labs, dentists, implant specialists, and surgeons with maximum flexibility and precision. Based on the exocad platform, exoplan delivers a seamless digital workflow and the highest usability and performance, the companies said.
NewTom delivers CBCT technology and efficiency in a versatile device, the companies continued. Customers can choose the NewTom Go, NewTom VGi evo, or GiANO HR, each with several upgrade options that can be configured based on the desired indications, the companies said.
“exocad provides ease of integration, a robust platform, and a built-in communication platform that enables dentist-to-lab collaboration and surgical guide creation,” said Dan Konicek, national sales director for Cefla North America.
Customers can order exoplan implant planning software together with any of these scanners. The system is delivered fully integrated, configured, and ready to realize dentists’ treatment planning needs, the companies said.
