Dental team certification will be available at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) 34th Annual AACD Scientific Session, April 18-21, 2018, in Chicago.
Through the Team Certificate Program, dental team members can acquire essential skills for assisting with cosmetic dentistry patients, including communication skills, contemporary concepts in cosmetic dentistry, leadership and business skills, and aesthetic dental photography.
“A dental practice can only be successful with knowledgeable, motivated team members,” said AACD past president and AACD Professional Education Committee member Mickey Bernstein, DDS. “We invite all clinical assistants, administrative team, and hygienists to participate, learn, and grow together.”
The conference will present the following Level 1 courses:
- Pillars of Strength: Lessons in Leadership with Debra Engelhardt Nash
- Contemporary Concepts in Cosmetic Dentistry with Salvatore Lotardo, DDS
- Game Changers! Two Dynamic Formulas That Will Boost Communication in Your Dental Practice with Leigh Ann Faight, RDH
- Introduction to Esthetic Dental Photography with Adamo Notarantonio, DDS.
Team Certificate course attendees will be asked for their feedback for further development of the program. Upon completing both Level I and Level II courses, team members will receive a Team Certificate recognizing their advanced training in assisting with cosmetic dentistry patients.
