MADISON, Wis. (10/10/12)— Dental professionals nationwide recently gathered in Madison, Wis., to learn about the “bread, butter and caviar” of cosmetic dentistry at AACD Unplugged, a new hands-on learning experience from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).

The AACD, located in Madison, offered its second installment of AACD Unplugged Sept. 28-29, featuring Dr. Michael Koczarski. Dr. Koczarski’s presentation was titled, “The Bread, Butter, and Caviar of the Cosmetic Practice.” Specifically, Koczarski taught attendees about indirect anterior and posterior ceramics.

AACD Unplugged is a live learning experience series geared toward providing dental professionals with exceptional cosmetic dentistry education in a small-group environment.

“AACD Unplugged provides a unique educational experience for dental professionals because it allows them to work one-on-one with the presenter,” said Kelly Radscliff, AACD Director of Professional Education. “Our attendees said they thought the session was engaging and inspirational, and they came away with tons of new skills.”

Supplies for AACD Unplugged were provided by Ivoclar Vivadent. Ivoclar also sponsored a complimentary tuition for one attendee.

The AACD will offer a third installment of AACD Unplugged on Jan. 28-29 in Madison featuring Dr. David Little, who will speak about implants.
