Air Techniques will showcase three of its products at Yankee Dental Congress this week, January 25-27, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center: the Proxi interproximal camera head for the CamX Triton HD camera, the Mojave LT3 dry vacuum system, and the ScanX Intraoral View digital radiography system. The company also is sponsoring two Product Navigator Live CE courses on Friday and Saturday.
The Proxi is the third interchangeable head for the CamX Triton HD, along with the intraoral Cam head and Spectra caries detection head. The Proxi is designed to enable practitioners to reliably detect interproximal caries. All three CamX Triton HD heads easily change between each other, according to Air Techniques.
The Mojave LT3 is designed to replace conventional liquid ring pumps and be 100% water free, as it uses a motor-driven air/water separator instead of a collection tank.
The ScanX Intraoral View enables the intuitive, efficient, and time-saving digitization of phosphor storage plates for all intraoral formats, sizes 0 to 4, due to its large touchscreen, easy to use interface, and multiple slots for simultaneous scanning, the company reports. It also is designed to be exceptionally flexible, thanks to Wi-Fi.
Josh Austin, DDS, will present the first continuing education course, “Pearls Live: Enhanced Diagnosis and Treatment with Intraoral Technology,” on Friday, January 26 from 10 am to noon. Pamela Maragliano-Muniz, DMD, will present “Pearls Live: Updates in Preventive Materials” on Saturday, January 27 from 10 am to noon. Both courses are worth 2 continuing education credits.
