Todd Ames has been appointed general manager of Thommen Medical USA, effective June 1, 2018. Previously, Ames held leadership positions at other large dental organizations. According to the company, the appointment is part of its renewed focus on achieving growth of market share and enhanced customer experience in the United States.

Ames’ experience includes 15 years of strategic selling, with eight years specifically leading dental sales in the United States. He also has nine years of corporate business development in the dental industry. Collaborating with teams across global markets, he has specialized in market development, mergers, acquisitions, enterprise business integration, sales force optimization, and change management.
