Ivoclar Vivadent’s Chief Executive Officer, Robert Ganley, addressed over 250 dental professionals and principal members of the dental industry, from across the U.S. and Canada, during the Evening of Innovation dinner, Saturday, February 25th in Chicago. Held at The Spertus Institute (Venue Six10), the dinner was the highlight of Ivoclar Vivadent’s five day 2012 Chicago Mid-Winter Meetings.

During the presentation, Ganley defined the motivation behind Ivoclar Vivadent’s innovative spirit: providing a successful experience for its partners and customers by listening to their needs. “Validating the needs of dental professionals, our partners and even the patient drives Ivoclar Vivadent to remain on the leading edge of manufacturing, research, and development,” said Ganley.  “Producing state-of-the-art products and innovative materials demonstrates our passion and commitment to the dental industry.”

Joining Ganley at the podium were Dr. Van Thompson, Chair of Biomaterials and Biomemetics at New York University College of Dentistry and Dr. Ken Malament, Clinical Professor Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  Professor Thompson provided evidence of Ivoclar Vivadent’s dedication by illustrating its system of rigorous testing. Declaring IPS e.max the most successful, innovative restorative material in dentistry today, Dr. Malament cited his numerous successes with the IPS e.max line as proof of the manufacturer’s enterprising and innovative character.

Ivoclar Vivadent executives Dr. Michael Gaglio and Dr. George Tyswosky concluded the presentation by providing a snapshot of new product innovations for the company.
