Thirty-nine employees from The Argen Corporation competed in The La Jolla Shores 5K event in La Jolla, California on April 29th. Team members from all departments within Argen, including many C-level executives, ran or walked the 3.1 mile course with 5 individuals achieving medals in their respective age groups. The participation was organized as part of Argen’s new Wellness Program, recently created by Anton Woolf, CEO of The Argen Corporation.
“I chose to invest resources in a wellness program at Argen because I personally believe that all individuals can achieve a happier, more positive and fulfilling life with improved overall health and wellness,” explained Mr. Woolf, “and this begins with education and awareness. I hope to create a culture within Argen that inspires individuals to invest in their personal health, and that this not only inspires the Argen Family, but the entire dental industry.”
To prepare for the event Argen organized training walks 3 days a week, with 3 walks per day at various times, to encourage employee participation. Other activities recently sponsored by Argen Wellness have included: chair yoga sessions, ZumbaTM classes, and personal health assessments, all in an effort to bring awareness to the importance of overall personal wellness to the entire organization.
