OREM, UTAH—7 February 2011—Aribex®, Inc., the worldwide leader in handheld x-ray technologies, has announced the organization of its International Division to market its innovative NOMAD® Handheld X-ray System worldwide. Leading the international group will be Christopher Weed, who recently joined Aribex as Director of International Sales.

Aribex will exhibit at the International Dental Show (Hall 11.3, Booth F067) in Köln, Germany, 23-26 March 2011.
Mr. Weed has an extensive background in building and managing sales organizations for dental x-ray manufacturers and is well known in the industry as a knowledgeable and successful executive. His resume includes sales and marketing management positions at Cygnus Technologies and AFP Imaging/Dent-X as well as extensive consulting work for a number of small dental companies both in the United States and abroad.
Marc Burrows has been promoted to the position of International Marketing Manager. Mr. Burrows has been with Aribex since 2006, last serving as Product Manager. His prior experience includes export management and trade financing. He was previously involved with international product development teams at Novell and WordPerfect.
Product manager responsibilities have been taken on by David Laws. Mr. Laws joins Aribex after 14 years with Mity-Lite in Orem, UT, where as VP of R&D he helped that company grow from $10M in sales to more than $60M. Mr. Laws graduated from BYU in 1992 with a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering and currently teaches engineering courses there part time. He holds 16 US and foreign patents.
