Aspen Dental’s latest opening in Nokomis, Florida, marks its 80th location in the Sunshine State and its 700th office nationwide. According to the company, it is the largest branded network of dental offices in the United States.
“I couldn’t be more excited to open our doors and begin seeing patients here in Nokomis,” said practice owner R. Dustin Dixon, DMD. “My team and I are focused on helping patients get the care they need today, breaking down the barriers by offering patient-friendly programs and services, including convenient locations, onsite denture labs, and extended hours.
“We’ve come a long way since Aspen Dental was founded 20 years ago,” said Bob Fontana, chairman and CEO of Aspen Dental Management Inc. “What began as a handful of dental practices in upstate New York now stands at 700 locations in 38 states, and I’m so proud of the positive impact that the dentists whose practices we support are having on their communities and the patients who walk through their doors every day.”
The Nokomis office commemorated the occasion with a “floss cutting.” It is located in Sarasota County, which has been designated as a dental health professional shortage area by the US Department of Health and Human Services.
