The Text2floss™ initiative is made possible by founding sponsor, makers of REACH® Floss and LISTERINE® Brand of Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc.Through funding of a $50,000 grant, Text2floss is now actively recruiting individuals to participate in a seven day study through their mobile device. Additional program benefits allow sharing of statistical data among professionals, enabling dental practitioners to promote the delivery of optimal patient care.

“Text2floss has the potential to reach people across the nation and globally through this healthy mobile movement,” said Text2floss founder Tony Hashemian, DDS, assistant dean, Global Oral Health, ATSU-ASDOH. “We strive to create solutions through improving oral health, leadership development, innovation, dental education, new technology, and the promotion of peace through positive collaboration.”
