Benco Dental has named Tom Hart its chief operations officer (COO), where he will be responsible for customer operations, distribution operations, and the company’s service dispatch and equipment coordination.
Previously, Hart served in a variety of leadership roles at McKesson Corporation, most recently as vice president of specialty distribution operations. While there, he played key roles in the CDC Vaccines for Children program and in the nationwide distribution of the H1N1 vaccine.
According to the company, Hart has been reaffirming its customer-focus philosophy, gaining fresh perspectives from dental practice owners, and achieving the shared goal of an improved patient experience.
Additionally, Hart launched the company’s Idea Tank program, enabling associates to share their visions for new processes, solutions, and customer experience improvements, as well as a fundraiser benefiting the United Way of Wyoming Valley that netted $1,095.
