Each year, the panel of dental technology experts at the Cellerant Consulting Group evaluates dental products for its annual Cellerant Best of Class Technology Awards. Now, the organization is inviting dental industry manufacturers and service providers to nominate their technologies for consideration for the 2019 awards. The process involves completing the Best of Class submission form online.
“Staying abreast of technology is a significant undertaking and an important responsibility,” said Lou Shuman, DMD, creator of the awards. “The Best of Class now occupies a unique and highly visible role in the dental community as an unbiased guide for important practice purchase decisions. Adding the open submission process to our existing year-round panel research will ensure that the Best of Class deliberations remain comprehensive.”
“With new technologies coming at a faster pace than ever, the open submission process assures that our panel will have maximum exposure to the most innovative products in dentistry,” said John Flucke, DDS, a member of the Best in Class panel, which also includes Shuman as well as Dentistry Today Technology Editor Paul Feuerstein, DMD; Marty Jablow, DMD; Pam Maragliano-Muniz, DMD; and Chris Salerno, DDS.
The submission window will be open through February 1, 2019. The panel will vote on the awards during the 2019 Chicago Midwinter Meeting, February 21-23, 2019. The winning technologies will be on display at ADA 2019 in San Francisco in September, where they will be recognized during a reception and ceremony.
