Henry Schein and Dentsply Sirona announce their “Exceed with CEREC” series for the fall of 2018. Held at various locations across the country throughout the year, the two-day program is designed to demonstrate the clinical applications of the CEREC system, showcase its benefits, and help oral health professionals operate a more successful and productive practice.
Attendees also will have an opportunity to scan, design, and mill restorations while experiencing hands-on demonstrations with polishing, staining, and glazing a variety of materials.
“We are excited to offer this event program, which is designed to expand knowledge, improve skills and efficiency, and teach new approaches that practitioners can rely on to support their digital dentistry journey,” said John Cox, vice president of technology, Henry Schein Dental.
Available from Henry Schein, CEREC is a fully scalable system that enables clinicians to take digital impressions, perform chairside CAD/CAM restorations, and produce a variety of solutions, including single-unit crowns, implant abutments, and surgical guides.
To help ensure the technology is optimized, CERC users have access to a network of peer-to-peer mentors and educational platforms, offering hands-on engagement with the technology, such as “Exceed with CEREC.
The October 12 events in Chicago and New York City will be customized specifically for practitioners looking to implement digital impressioning first and who may add chairside milling in the future.
