Pam McGowan, the marketing communications manager with COLTENE, put herself to the test in the Canal Corridor 100 Mile Endurance Run in Northeast Ohio, on July 8 and 9. About 150 runners joined her on the course, which wound through portions of the Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
McGowan ran to raise support and awareness for the American Lung Association in honor of her mother-in-law Barbara, who is fighting stage 4 lung cancer. McGowan’s husband Steve volunteered throughout the day and ran the final 34 miles of the race with her.
