Cefla Medical Equipment will showcase 2 of its new imaging systems that are designed to save space in crowded dental offices during the Greater New York Dental Meeting at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, November 25 through November 30. The wall-mounted MyRay Hyperion X5 3D/2D will be spotlighted at booth No. 5625, while the NewTom GO 2D/3D suspending imaging system will be featured at booth No. 2000.
“We know that today’s dental practices, especially those in large cities that have space considerations, are looking for ways to maximize patient care by investing in new technologies that offer just the right fit,” said Jim Norton, who leads the company’s new product training program in North America. “Both the NewTom GO 2D/3D and the MyRay Hyperion X5 3D/2D units offer everything practices need to enhance diagnosis, communicate with patients, and deliver leading-edge treatment without taking up floor space.”
The NewTom GO 2D/3D’s image acquisition technology and advanced NNT software are designed to guide dentists to precise, accurate diagnosis. The device suits implantology, endodontics, periodontics, maxillofacial surgery, and x-ray specialists. According to the company, its ergonomics and software efficiency ensure exceptional results for many different types of practices.
The MyRay Hyperion X5 3D/2D can be mounted on any wall suitable for housing an intraoral x-ray system. Its 16-bit capability achieves better image quality than any previous technology and offers 2-D and 3-D options, Cefla Medical Equipment says. Also, its Morphology Recognition Technology calculates the size and volume of the patient and automatically adjusts the radiation dose for maximum safety.
Furthermore, the MyRay Hyperion X5 3D/2D’s 3D SMART (Streak Metal Artifacts Reduction Technology) is designed to efficiently remove the typical metal-caused artifacts from 3-D images, improving their diagnostic abilities. Its iRYS software platform is compatible with other surgery management tools or processing and storage software.
