DenMat has launched its Study Club, which will meet monthly at its headquarters in Lompoc, California. The first meeting, held on June 20, featured “High Tech Innovations in Endodontics” led by Dentistry Today Leader in Continuing Education Stephen Buchanan, DDS.
Buchanan has more than 30 years of experience in endodontics and is an associate clinical professor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and the University of California at Los Angeles School of Dentistry. He also maintains a private practice in Santa Barbara, California.
DenMat plans on including presentations on dental implants, aesthetics, soft tissue management, digital dentistry, and more through 2019, each led by well-known industry leaders and experts, according to the company.
Upcoming lectures will include:
- July 25: The ART of Clinical Photography and Successful Case Presentation by Apolinar Madrigal, DDS
- September 19: Digital Planning and Workflow for Implant Dentistry by Joe Mehranfar, DMD, MS
- November 7: Implant Site Development by David L. McAninch, DDS
- December 5: Shifting the Paradigm with Minimally Invasive Veneers by David Ouellet, DDS
“We are very pleased to honor the legacy of our founder, Dr. Robert Ibsen, by offering an interactive forum for local doctors,” said Jennifer Archer, senior director of continuing education and events.
“Through the DenMat Study Club, these oral health professionals will further their knowledge in the latest developments in dentistry, gain tools to strengthen their practices, build a trusted network of colleagues, and increase their impact on our dental community,” said Archer.
Each two-hour presentation offers two continuing education credits, recognized by ADA CERP and AGD PACE, with registration and dinner preceding each lecture. Each lecture costs $40, with a 20% discount when registering for all 2019 sessions. Office and hygiene staff are welcome as well at no cost. For more, visit denmat.com/education/study-club.
