Steven J. Brady, assistant vice president of client engagement for DentaQuest, has recently joined the board of the American Dental Association Foundation (ADAF), further solidifying his commitment to enhancing access to oral health services, both professionally and personally.
The Foundation utilizes philanthropy, professional development, and leadership backing to cultivate healthier communities. This encompasses initiatives like Give Kids A Smile®, offering children complimentary dental care, providing financial aid to dentists and their families in need, and recognizing and supporting promising dental leaders.
In his capacity as a board member, Steven will actively collaborate to uphold the philanthropic mission and will serve as a representative for the Foundation and its initiatives. Board members typically maintain their service for four years.
“This country is facing a shortage of dental professionals, particularly in communities of color or those that are low-income,” Steven said. “Fostering and providing opportunities for the next generation of dentistry leaders will go a long way to improving the oral health of all, which is the mission that I work towards every day with my DentaQuest colleagues. We know oral health is critical to overall health and wellness, and I am thrilled to lend my support to the ADA Foundation’s efforts to advance leaders in dentistry and deliver care to those in need.”
Steven contributes over two decades of experience in insurance finance and management, nonprofit organizations, education, healthcare, and business to the board.
Currently, he oversees teams of up to 27 professionals dedicated to managing client partnerships, thereby extending dental benefits to millions of individuals across multiple states. Additionally, he takes on the role of an annual guest lecturer at the Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry and serves as an adjunct professor at the Tennessee State University College of Business.
Furthermore, Steven holds a position on the board of TeamSmile, the nation’s premier advocacy group that forges partnerships between oral health professionals and professional athletic organizations to deliver transformative dental care to underserved children throughout the country.
