Dentsply Sirona partnered with TeamSmile and local organizations to provide free dental services for underserved children in Charlotte, reinforcing its mission to increase access to oral health. The event combined essential dental care and oral health education with engaging activities, creating a meaningful and memorable experience for the community.

In late January, Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest manufacturer of dental products and technologies, organized a free dental clinic in partnership with TeamSmile, the Carolina Panthers, and the Rho Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. The event aimed to increase access to essential dental care for underprivileged youth in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
During the event, 172 children received no-cost dental services, including X-rays, cleanings, fillings, sealants, and extractions, as well as oral health education, with a total estimated value of more than $68,000. The clinic not only provided vital health services but also featured engaging activities, including meet-and-greets with mascots and cheerleaders, along with a lively DJ and face painters. Dentsply Sirona employees volunteered on-site to help ensure the success of the event, creating a memorable experience for all attendees.
