Dentsply Sirona Launches Cercon yo ML: Smarter Zirconia for Enhanced Restorations

Engineered to provide patients with all-ceramic restorative treatment options, Cercon yo ML—a 4Y/5Y yttrium-optimized hybrid multilayer zirconia—offers translucency, chroma, and shade accuracy. The material delivers high strength and esthetics for every type of zirconia restoration in a practice or lab. Smarter esthetics, smarter production, and smarter continuity.

The innovative multilayer design of Cercon yo ML delivers a seamless transition across individual layers, providing lifelike esthetics without the need for staining. This advanced chromatic concept enhances depth perception while accentuating the incisal edge, ensuring every restoration resembles natural teeth. Combined with True Color Technology, this zirconia disc enables stunning, realistic results for any type of restorative work.

Designed to simplify workflows, Cercon yo ML enhances productivity with speed sintering capabilities—completing cycles in less than 45 minutes in lab furnaces and under 40 minutes in a chairside furnace. The additional sintering programs are the same as for Cercon zirconia products, allowing for an easy transition for current users.

Combination of Strength, Natural Esthetics, and Precision

In addition, the latest Cercon innovation has been specifically engineered to enable a smoother milling process, optimizing pre-sintered strength for greater consistency and safety across Dentsply Sirona and competitors’ mills. This ensures predictable performance, streamlined production, and successful restorations every time.

Cercon yo ML provides all-ceramic restorative treatment options, allowing patients to return for various indications using the same zirconia material over the years to ensure a lifelong shade match. It is suited for anterior and posterior crowns and up to 14-unit bridges. Available in all 16 A-D VITA* shades in addition to two bleach shades for seamless integration with existing restorations.
