At this year’s CDA meeting, SciCan continues to experience positive feedback on its OPTIM 33 TB wipes. These wipes offer sanitization in 30 seconds and have a one-minute bactericidal and virucidal claim, and a 5-minute TB claim. Based on the EPA toxicity categorization of antimicrobial products that ranges from Category I (high toxicity) down to Category IV, OPTIM 33TB has the lowest toxicity category assigned of which precautionary warning label is not required. Most leading brands of antimicrobial products have a Category II or III warning/caution.
OPTIM wipes have no strong chemical odor, are not flammable, and their active ingredient breaks down into oxygen and water. They are biodegradable and no waste treatment is required.
