It’s widely known that classroom learning can be a valuable tool, but this year’s ADA Annual Session in Denver will be offering even more cutting-edge ways to learn and earn continuing education (CE) credits. The following is a list of just some of the highlights that will be featured in the coming days.

Live-Patient CAD/CAM Stage
As advances in technology continue at a rapid pace, the live-patient CAD/CAM stage will allow dental professionals to learn more about digital impressioning and in-office options. These attributes can enhance your quality of care and grow your practice.

Planmeca and Patterson Dental Supply will be presenting live-patient programs. “Digital Restorative Dentistry” will be led by Dr. Mike Moroni, and “The Power of One-Visit Dentistry” will be led by Dr. Todd Ehrlich.

Campfire Sessions
These small, informal group discussions will be taking place throughout the convention center during the meeting.

There will be 3 different formats, including “Continue the Conversation,” which allows attendees to “dive deeper” with expert speakers, who will answer questions after their courses; “Peer-to-Peer Knowledge Exchanges,” which will allow attendees to engage in small-group discussions of defined topics and exchange ideas; and “Ask the Experts,” which will be led by today’s leaders on dentistry’s hottest topics. Attendees to the latter are encouraged to bring questions, case examples, and original personal theories to discuss with the group.

Social Media and Office Productivity Zone
Social media is a necessity in today’s practice, and it can be difficult to know where to get started. At the ADA’s Social Media and Office Productivity Zone, attendees can get expert advice on how to make the best impressions with social media. Areas of focus include the Tech Bar, which will help users with their smartphones and tablets; the Head Shot Lounge, for updated professional portrait photographs; and the Social Media Corner, where Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Anchor, LinkedIn, Periscope, and other programs will be explored.
