The FDI World Dental Federation wants to know how you commemorated World Oral Health Day (WOHD) on March 20 this year and recognize the best celebrations with a WOHD Award.
Participating dental professionals can fill out the online WOHD Activity Report to tell the FDI about their efforts, including photos, videos, links, and other details needed to describe their local campaigns.
FDI said that it relies on the power of local and national campaigns to activate WOHD globally. Empowered by a common goal to reduce the burden of oral diseases, the oral health community comes together year after year to organize all kinds of activities to raise awareness about good oral health, FDI said.
FDI members can be shortlisted for the Most Educational Activity and Best Media Campaign categories. International Association of Dental Specialists members can win in the Most Original Activity and Best Social Media Campaign categories. Oral health professionals, the wider healthcare community, and the general public (non-FDI members) can be shortlisted in the Best Branded Photo category.
Winners will receive free registration to the ADA FDI World Dental Congress Special Edition.
FDI notes that WOHD would not be the success that it is without the continued dedication and support of dental professionals.
