The FDI World Dental Federation’s 2021 World Dental Congress will be held online, September 26 through September 29, in conjunction with the Australian Dental Association.

Broadcast from the International Convention Centre in Sydney, the World Dental Congress will stream live sessions as well as pre-recorded on-demand presentations, which will be available online for 60 days after the event.

Attendees will have more than 200 continuing education scientific sessions to choose from, with speakers from Africa, America, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and New Zealand. Participants will be able to interact with speakers and ask questions in real time.

The industry exhibition also will be held through the same virtual event platform, ensuring a seamless experience for participants to engage with exhibitors and view product demonstrations, the FDI said.

All regular FDI business meetings and the General Assembly will be held on the virtual platform as well.

Abstracts must be submitted by April 15. Authors may submit abstracts for oral presentations and posters in general dentistry, preventive dentistry, dental treatment and restorative dentistry, and oral surgery, medicine, and cancer.
